DirectorsLabChicago offers a competitive intern program for rising junior and senior undergraduate students who are pursuing a degree in theatre and have a strong interest in directing. Each summer, through a written application process, we invite two aspiring student directors to join us for the week of the Lab. In addition to having the opportunity to participate in all Lab activities, the interns provide logistical support to the staff and attending directors which may include: setting up the physical space, time management, blogging/managing social media, and photography/video documentation.
